Today at the Market

Today at the market we picked up the last of our chickens from this year’s order – 14 chickens for $310. We also got three pounds of heart and livers, a dozen feet, and three dozen beautiful pastured eggs. Oh, and we picked up some lovely smelling organic garlic from another vendor too. There is a chicken currently roasting in our oven with rosemary, butter, garlic, onion, carrot and lemon inside. We’ll serve that up with some purple turnip and steamed carrots for supper today. I cannot wait!
